I've always had problem with sweating, especially on the area of my underarm, it was just too much to handle with all the average deodorants in the market. I always ended up with a round wet mark on my underarm. ugh!
I've seen that Dove came up with the anti-perspirant, promising to leave you dry all day long and also 48 hrs odour protection. I love every product of Dove, specially that unique scent, so I bought it to try. I used like they tell us to use: Shake well and apply 15cm from you underarm.
That's what I learned, and actually is very similar to Degree anti-perspirant:
1- It's not dry right after apply, I felt like a thin layer of deodorant which let me a little afraid to wear my t-shirt before it was totally dry.
2- If you don't shake well you will have a large white mark on your underarm, so shake it!
3- you will smell bad after whitin 48 hours if you don't shower, but it was very efficient for a day, it didn't smell bad at all during the entire day, so I guess we can say 24 hours odour protection (But who stays 48hrs straight without a shower? I at least don't know anybody, I hope)
4- It didn't let my underarm dry all day long, but also didn't let me sweating like crazy or gave me that wet round mark o my t-shirt. It was good, it held the sweat, but I still sweated, what I don't find wrong since lots of people say anti-perspirant is bad for you because it blocks the pores and really people, your body needs to sweat, but like a lost person in the desert (that's for sure).
5- I really like it, doesn't let me dry all day long but I wasn't really looking fr it, but it holds lots of my sweating.
6- If is very hot it doesn't hold the sweat so well
This is what I learned using Dove dry spray and Degree, they were pretty much the same thing. should I create a new post for Degree? Let's do copy and paste then!
OVERALL:
Price: Sprays deodorant/ anti-persirant are more pricy than the regular ones. around $7.00 to $9.00
It's worth: Yes, I would buy it again, actually I prefer much more spray that any other one, it holds much more sweat than any other form of deodorant/ anti-persirant.
** This is my opinion after I used the Dove and Degree anti-perspirant, I'm Brazilian, maybe I sweat abnormally, who knows!
